About the Author
Donya Lynne is the bestselling author of the award winning All the King's Men Series and a member of Romance Writers of America. Making her home in a wooded suburb north of Indianapolis with her husband, Donya has lived in Indiana most of her life and knew at a young age that she was destined to be a writer. She started writing poetry in grade school and won her first short story contest in fourth grade. In junior high, she began writing romantic stories for her friends, and by her sophomore year, she’d been dubbed Most Likely to Become a Romance Novelist. Sexy enough to cause spontaneous pregnancy!

A return to the world of AKM featuring the long awaited story of trace. Full disclosure...I effing love this series. Donya Lynne has created a new and refreshing world from the vampire series. And while almost all of her books have a fairly heavy storylines surrounding things like abuse, drug addiction, homophobia...etc she handles them with dignity and you truly see the characters grow and develop not just in the individual books but across the series.
And Bound Gaurdian Angel is no different.
Trace and Courdray are two vamps with a past full of hurt and watching their story unfold was pure joy. One feels nothing. The other feels almost to much and has to fight to keep the inner beast under control.
Enter Micha...our friendly neighborhood Dom and all around sassy pants.
The deep friendship, trust and devotion between the hero and his bff is so well done and the flow is so organic when it comes to the Dom/Sub relationship that it isn't a shock or awkward.
Secondary characters that make a welcome appearance include all the fan favorites and we get a bit more Intel and hints for the overall story. Not to mention a few omg moments and a couple of "what the f***!?!?" Happenings.
We also have the introduction of some really great new characters.
Grammar, spelling, story line, no complaints.
This author is known for checking once, twice, three times, and then once more for mistakes.
And it pays off beautifully.
I would definitely recommend this book to all my friends.
This is of course a stand alone...however...it is also part of a series. I would suggest starting from the beginning so you don't get a bit lost in some of the details.
Also if Bdsm, slight bi sexuality, and smutty sexiness in general aren't your thing then this may not be the book for you.
But if all of the above doesn't cause you to clutch your pearls then Happy Reading!

Best in the AKM Series so far!!!!

This is the long awaited 7th book in the All the Kings Men Series. Trace's story has finally arrived and it has exceeded every expectation I had for his story. I love it and it fits Trace and Cordray perfectly. A lot of reviewer will give SPOILERS but I won't!!! If you want to know read the book it's great. But you really need to read the rest of the series first, so if you haven't start with Rise of the Fallen (Micah's Story) first. Donya Lynne is a great author and I love all her books and recommend them to everyone I know.

One of the Top Vampire Series Out There

WARNING: My review contains spoilers if you have not read the first six books. This book could be read as a standalone but why would you not want to read the first six books?
If you liked Vishous' lifestyle in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series you'll like this book. If you like lots of hot sex along with great storytelling you'll love this series.
In this book we learn the histories of Traceon (picture Shemar Moore) and Cordray (picture a female fitness model, with long blue & black hair, all inked and pierced). We learn the cause of Trace's almost uncontrollable power and why Cordray cannot feel pain or pleasure. Traceon is Micah Black's best friend and submissive. Cordray is King Bain's sister.
In the previous story Cordray was given rights to the community service Trace was being punished with by King Bain after Trace broke one of his laws. Cordray was the person responsible for getting Trace imprisoned with her testimonial at Trace's trial. Trace spent two weeks in King Bain's dungeon and on the day he was to be released to Cordray she was late to pick him up. Trace almost had a meltdown and needed Micah's Domination to put the dangerous power bubbling up inside him at bay. If it was unleashed it could cause as much destruction as an atomic bomb. So needless to say Micah and Trace hate Cordray.
Cordray was late picking up Trace because she had been doing research to find out the truth about Bishop and his medical lab where horrible experiments had been done on vampires. It was the same lab where Trace's father had been found. During her research she found out about a secret vampire fight club. After leaving the bar where she had been searching people's minds she saw a burglar breaking into Micah's apartment as he scaled down the outside of the building in downtown Chicago. Curiouser and curiouser.
So Trace is assigned to work for Cordray and in doing so they fight an obvious attraction to each other. New characters are introduced and new mysteries are laid out to be solved in the next book. I cannot wait and according to Donya Lynne's website we won't have to wait as long as we did for this book.
I love that Donya can write an action packed, erotic story with minimal inner dialogue. You get just enough to understand the characters' reasons for what they are doing and it isn't repeated just to create filler like in so many stories I've read recently. There is a great BDSM scene in Micah's dungeon that you just need to read.
The editing in Donya's books is excellent. It's old school excellent.
