Set in New York City nightclubs and junkie hangouts, The Darkest Tunnel spends a week in the lives of two young, gay men. Unfortunately Badly Written

I looked forward to reading Ernie Glam's novelization of the Club Kids scene when I saw this as a recommended book, however, the typos and meandering prose were just the most obvious issues with this thin story.
Taking place in the excessive 1990s NYC Club scene, the two unlivable protagonists march along their destructive paths with little interior motivation or common sense. There isn't anyone to root for or any plot to keep the reader interested as we trudge toward an expected and less than thrilling conclusion
It's a shame, since Glam knows the scene and could probably evoke an insider view into the time and characters with some editing and more grounded motivations. As it stands, this novel left me sad that I spent any time reading about two guys who didn't seem to care about anything at all, thus neither did I.

One of the best books I've read in a long time

One of the best books I've read in a long time. It's full of excitement, sex, murder and more. I recommend you read this book as soon as possible. It's a great summer read. It's light and fast.
